The History
Storytellers got its start in early 2010 as one of the first companies to invest heavily in transmedia storytelling. Since then it has become one of the leaders in the industry with studios such as Marvel and Disney using its techniques. Storytellers has developed many of the tools and techniques used by companies around the world for transmedia marketing, storytelling, and interactions.
Storytellers continues as a leader in developing new transmedia strategies based off of social behaviors, social interactions, psychological studies, and years of gathered data from the industry.

The Technical
Storytellers, is a multi-faceted transmedia company (established in 2010) providing transmedia services to story creators to assist throughout the entire creative process, from conception to completion. With a heart for unity among the faith-based storytellers of the world, Storytellers has branched into different venues as the company and the Christian Media and Entertainment industry grows.
Storytellers was obtained by S.C. TreeHouse LLC (established in 2009) in 2016 as part of a 7 year expiation strategy (2016 - 2022). As a transmedia company, Storytellers currently provides services within the Film & TV, Books & Publishing, Theater & Dance, Games & VR, Web & Video, Comics & Animation, Photos & Art, as well as Radio & Podcast industries. There are currently three avenues through which Storytellers provides services. First, membership plans target the ultra low budget projects by offering them the same industry leading transmedia services provided to mega budget projects, but at a low monthly subscription fee. Services are also provided in educational teaching environments as incubation/training courses, and as always, Storytellers continues to bring transmedia elements to projects of any size by working directly with businesses.

The Practical
So, If that first paragraph made absolutely no sense to you, don't worry about it. It doesn't make a lot of sense to most people. So here's a rundown (in English) of what Storytellers actually does. Storytellers is a transmedia service provider. We provide projects within the Film & TV, Books & Publishing, Theater & Dance, Games & VR, Web & Video, Comics & Animation, Photos & Art, as well as Radio & Podcast industries with transmedia services. But What does that look like? Well, in a nutshell, we come alongside productions and projects and introduce transmedia elements into them to help bring their stories into the real world. As an example. One of our clients had a movie about a blogger, we came alongside that movie and built the actual blog from the movie (that the character in the movie used) in the real world, so that fans could follow it and interact with the film's main character. This was all done in real-time as the events of the movie where supposedly taking place. This helped to build an engaged audience for the character herself. As well as building interaction between the project and the audience. So by the time the film released it's first trailer, there was already a thoroughly engaged audience ready to receive it.
This is what we do. We take elements of a project's larger story and implement them into the real world in order to build an engaged audience that is part of the story.
That's what we do, and we do this in thousands of different ways, most of the time much more complicated than the example above. But, we felt like that example was a good one to tickle your curiosity with.
Hopefully that helps you understand a little more of what we do. But if you are still unsure of exactly what transmedia is and how it can be used to help your projects, you can always feel free to reach out to us through the contact information provided. We know this seams like a confusing and new way of telling stories. But, that's why we are here to help. We have spent years analyzing trends, and studying psychologic and social behaviors of crowds and fans to develop our methods. And we guarantee you that the numbers don't lie. Projects that use transmedia storytelling on average are twice as profitable as stories that don't, plus they have a more passionate and engaged audience, much like those of cult classics.

Why Did We Start Storytellers?
To assist the faith centered entertainment industry in functioning as the body of Christ.
S.C. TreeHouse has proved that together faith centered storytellers can produce content that competes with studio content (In 2018 S.C. TreeHouse helped qualify many creators for awards such as the Oscars and Hugo Awards). The Storytellers System is S.C. TreeHouse’s first creator funded, inspired, and run devision designed to cultivate creator driven, faith centered, innovations in the entertainment industry at large. Innovative and creative stories generates huge audiences and impact the entire industry, but such can not be accomplished alone or divided. S.C. TreeHouse is excited to exclusively offer faith centered creators a system built on industry leading networking and creative tools/opportunities that won’t only impact the quality and way they tell stories, but the world. Do I get Updates on How it's going?
As part of Regulation A+, we are required to file financial reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission on a semi-annual basis. We will also send out regular updates via email to let you know all the latest news of the company.
We also invite all creators to join us for our monthly "Change Meetings" (held in Chattanooga TN and live casted on our website) where we talk about the state of The Storytellers System and the industry as a whole. These meetings allow us a time to hear from all of you and make sure we are continuing to build and provide useful tool/opportunities to help you create awesome stories in the best ways possible. where are you guys located?
We are internet based and have thousands of members from around the world. However, our corporate headquarters is located in Chattanooga Tennessee.

About Storytellers
I’m Christopher D. Stewart, founder of Storytellers.
I've got some really epic news for you. My original idea in making Storytellers was simply to create a centralized network for the amazing people working with me on one of my projects so they could communicate and access all of the tools they needed. As I shared this "system" with friends, ministry leaders, and entertainment professionals, I kept getting the same response: "I want to use this."
As a result, we've decided to further develop this system, making it into the most intuitive and complete set of production and networking tools available for creatives working in any medium of storytelling. And when I say "we," I mean we literally, because you can be a part of this unprecedented project.

WHY DO THIS?
We've been producing movies, shorts, TV shows, books, audio dramas, albums and interactive stories for over 10 years. And one thing we've learned is that when it comes to building a collaborative network of tools and creators it takes a village to get the job done.
This is why we are opening everything up to you guys. Yep, we are wanting you all to join us in this adventure of developing these tools and creating unity among the faith based storytellers.

"It provides an awesome opportunity for storytellers to see what they have done well, what they haven't, what they like/dislike about things that other storytellers have done... it also provides a great chance for everyone to get together and, if requested, give extremely helpful CONSTRUCTIVE criticism." -Ted Winblad
|
"This is especially good for young filmmakers, new filmmakers, and filmmakers just getting started. And filmmakers always want/need more networking!" -Meghan McDermott
|
"I very much enjoyed the content and film competition! I will definitely be attending the screening and hope to be part of a team competing again next year!" -Ethan Mitchell
|
"It was so focused on God and the storytelling came second, which I greatly appreciated! Without Him we can do no good thing." -Colt Sugg
|
"I would recommend this to anyone... It was a wonderful experience and an honor to be a part of!" -Crimson Rose

Christopher first began working with storytelling as a child of 9 when his siblings and he turned their treehouse into an imaginary TV station. That same year Christopher received a super 8 video camera for Christmas, for Christopher, unwrapping that camera was the beginning of what the world knows has 'The Master's Story'. For the next 3 years Christopher shot short films with his siblings before graduating to feature films and then other forms of entertainment. Those 3 years are a time that Christopher recalls as "the prologue of life's story". However, as all prologues should, Christopher's came to an end, and that is where the real story began.
As one of the leading producers of Transmedia entertainment, Christopher has a heart for all forms of storytelling, is an activist for community among creators, and is always looking to give "undiscovered" talent a shot on center stage. |

Heidi OlsonDIRECTOR
|
Heidi Joy Olson's parents met onstage so when she was born, her family was already developing the reputation of "the skit family".
Studying under masters at the Lamplighter Guild in NY and Take It from the Top Broadway camp in Lansing, MI, she found that the stories she helped to tell grew her personal character and shaped the way she thought. A desire to share the power of stories started to grow in Heidi's heart, and she began pursuing her Bachelor's in Psychology: Life Coaching from Liberty University Online so that she could better understand and work with people in the storytelling fields of the future. Currently, Heidi continues pursuing her Bachelor’s degree, directs a traveling troupe called Unmuted, and works in film alongside her brother Ben. She loves living the adventure of every day as a child of the King of Kings and sharing the joy of storytelling with people anytime she can! |
